According to a recent rumor the iPhone 5S release date for this year will be some time in June, Apple released the iPhone 5 in September of last year and the iPhone 4S was released in October of 2011.
Prior to that Apple released its new iPhone’s around June or July, this was the case with the original iPhone which was released in June of 207, the iPhone 3G in July of 2008, the iPhone 3GS on June of 2009 and the iPhone 4 in June of 2010.
Apple previously switched its schedule for the iPhone 4S to October as the device was delayed, and now it would appear that this year they may switch back to their June or July schedule.
We are expecting the iPhone 5S to feature the same design as the iPhone 5, Apple has done this previously, keeping the same design for a device for two years since the iPhone 3G was introduced.
Of course this has yet to be confirmed by Apple, although if they do decided to launch the iPhone 5S in June then we can expect some sort of official announcement from them around May.
