Apple announced the new iPhone 5S earlier this week, the handset comes with a new 64-bit Apple A7 processor, and now we have some details on how the handset will perform compared to the competition.
When the device was announced Apple said that the GPU would offer double the performance of the iPhone 5, although they did not reveal a lot of details about the GPU, they did say it would offer support for OpenGL ES 3.0.
You can see the benchmarks below of the iPhone 5S compared to other devices, according to the guys from GSM Arena, the tests use OpenGL ES 2.0, so they are not showing the full capabilities of the iPhone 5S.
The iPhone 5S will go on sale on the 20th of September, the handset comes with some impressive specifications, which include a 4 inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, plus a new 64-bit Apple A7 processor, it also comes with a new updated 8 megapixel iSight camera with an f2.2 aperture.
