We recently heard that Apple may be announcing the iPhone 5 on the 4th of October as this date has been tipped as the date of Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPod event, but this leaves us wondering when the iPhone 5 will actually go on sale.
With previous iPhone launches, Apple has announced the device and then put it up for pre-order straight away, with the device becoming available 7 to 10 days later, and now it would appear that we may have a possible launch date for the iPhone 5 of Thursday the 13th of October.
When Apple is about to release a new iPhone, AT&T usually changes its upgrade options for existing customers, giving them a date when they can upgrade early, now one AT&T Customer, @mataroo, whos upgrade isn’t due until November has been offered to upgrade his phone to a new iPhone at a reduced rate for the 13th of October.
We wondering if any other AT&T subscribers have had similar notification of an early upgrade with the same date, if you have leave a comment and let us know.
