Apple originally launched their new iPhone 5 back in September, demand for the handset has been high, which has meant that supply has been limited, although now it would appear that the supply of the new iPhone 5 is finally catching up with demand.
According to a recent report by Piper Jaffray, who recently checked stock levels with a number of Apple Stores in the US, the handset is now readily available at the majority of Apple stores.
“We believe the iPhone 5 has finally reached a point where consumers can walk into an Apple Store and walk out with a phone,” Munster said in a note to investors on Thursday.
The major US mobile carriers, which also carry the Apple iPhone 5 are also showing around a 90 percent availability of the handset, the carriers include Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. The shipping availability on Apple’s website has also dropped down to just one week.
