Wincoud have designed a new 3D printing pen aptly named the iPen, which has been specifically designed for children and is a low temperature 3D printing pen that comes complete with its own charging base.
3D printing filament is fed into the top of the printing pen and can be automatically fed by pressing the appropriate button when required allowing children and adults alike to create anything they can imagine on any flat surface. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the iPen and it’s design.
The developers of iPen explain more about its unique features, functionality and inspiration.
Different from the other 3D printing pens ,ipen don’t have to insert the power supply when using,so it’s safer for children.Charge with a charging base, just put pen on it will charge, just like a portable charge for your 3D print pen.And different from high temperature 3D printing pen of melting point 190 ℃ , ipen need only 80 ℃ can start painting with PCL fliaments that is a kind of environmental protection、non-toxica and biodegradable materials at low temperature.
PCL filaments are same to PLA filaments when you using it, it will turn into solid after you’ve painted for a few seconds,so you can bold enough to create what you want. Children for the first time to use 3D printing pen won’t draw 3D drawing, it doesn’t matter, our package include pattern stencils of some interesting models, children can draw on the pattern first, when it becomes solid in few seconds can take down to joint into a 3D Drawing.
