The sequel to the popular iOS game Infinity Blade hit the Apple iTunes Store on December 1st and in its first month has generated over $5 million is sales for its developer Chair and publisher Epic.
In just a few weeks after launch Infinity Blade 2 had already set new records and become the fastest selling iOS game of all time. Securing a cool $1.7m in sales in the first few days after launch. The new sales figures released this week, show that the two titles have now amassed an impressive $30 million between them, which is sure to continue growing.
If you haven’t already played Infinity Blade 2, its definitely worth a purchase if you like a cracking hack-n-slash game. Its been build using Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 technology, which when combined with Apple’s A6 chip creates some great gameplay and graphics, which are comparable to console titles. see it in action below.
