IFTTT is a very useful online service that allows users to automate their tasks online. For example, you can set up synchronization between Gmail and Evernte, so that every email that you receive is also saved as a copy in Evernote. This is what they call a “Recipe”. Recently, the company introduced an iOS application as well that allows users to connect different service and automate their tasks using different channels. In the iOS application, the company introduced three new channels: Contacts, Photos and Reminders. Channels are services such as Gmail, Facebook, Twitter etc.
According to the company,
Soon the phone will be just as valuable in your pocket as it is in your hand. Idle phones move data, respond to new locations, and receive notifications — this is only the beginning.
IFTTT for iPhone is our first step towards bringing the power of IFTTT to all of your devices. Put the iPhone to work for you.
The application offers many useful connections such as transferring your photos from your camera roll to Dropbox, keep track of completed tasks in Google Drive, and much more.
This is a very handy iOS application in my opinion as users don’t have to worry about creating a backup of their contacts, photos and save them to different online services. These are just a few important connections that can be made but the applications offers dozens of other recipes. You can even create your own, if you cannot find your desired recipe in the list.
The application can be download from iTunes App Store using the link below.
