If you unfortunately need to have the display replaced on your iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro handsets and a non genuine display is used for the repair, Apple will let you know.
If a non genuine display is installed on any of the new iPhone 11 handsets then a message will be displayed on your device, this can be seen in the picture above.
The message will be displayed in the settings app on the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max when a non genuine Apple display is installed on the handsets.
A similar message will also be displayed if the battery is replaced with a non Apple battery, Apple is looking to make sure than only genuine Apple parts are used in repairs of its devices.
