A new Raspberry Pi compatible development board has been unveiled this week in the form of the new HummingBoard, which comes equipped with aFreescale i.MX6 ARM Cortex-A9 processor.
The new HummingBoard is equipped with up to 2GB of RAM and a 26-pin Raspberry Pi-like connector for add-ons and expandability.
The HummingBoard development board is also fitted with a microSD card slot for storage expansion together with connectors for mSATA and mini PCIe devices.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by its creators Solid Run, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
Solid Run is also currently running a competition during which it is giving away 30 HummingBoard development boards to winners. Jump over to their website for more information and entry details, submissions must be sent by April 25th, 2014, midnight.
