Vodafone and Huawei released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Huawei Ascend G300 smartphone at the start of this month, unfortunately the update caused a number of problems, and many users reported issues with the update.
Now Vodafone has announced that they will be releasing a new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Ascend G300, which is expected to fix the issues previously reported.
I’m pleased to say that Huawei will begin rolling out the new G300 software (B952), that will address the broken dictionary issue, from Wednesday 28th November. We’ve tested the other problems you’ve reported and haven’t been able to reproduce them in this new software.
The new version of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Vodafone G300 is expected to be available some time this week as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
