This week at the Vive Ecosystem Conference in Shenzhen, HTC has announced the availability and pricing for its new professionally aimed Vive Focus Plus VR headset. Announcing that the Vive Focus Plus will be available to purchase priced at $799 from April 15th, 2019 onwards directly from the official Vive website. The new VR headset will be available in 25 different markets around the world and will support 19 languages at launch
Designed with developers and business partners primarily in mind the Vive Focus Plus offers enhanced optics, featuring all new fresnel lenses implemented into the HMD to enhance visual clearness, says HTC. “A professional-grade, portable VR solution for enterprise applications, the VIVE Focus Plus is designed for easy deployment and management. Equipped with immersive six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) controllers, improved graphics and the ultimate in ergonomic comfort, this all-in-one VR system is ideal for showrooms, training simulations, virtual conferences and more.”

The 5G Hub first unveiled earlier this year at MWC2019, will also be showcased at the upcoming VEC2019 event and HTC will be demonstrating the potential of 5G Cloud VR rendering and also high-definition 360 video live streaming. Using the newly released Insta360 EVO dual-mode 180 and 360 camera, designed for Vive Wave platform.
