On the weekend we saw a press render of the new HTC Smartwatch, and now it would appear that the device has appeared on an official HTC video.
The video from HTC, which can be seen below, shows the HTC design team at work, and on the desk of one 0f the designers is a smartwatch that looks exactly like the HTC Smartwatch that we saw in the leaked render.
The device can be seen close up in the photo above, and whilst the zoomed in photo is blurry, we can see that the design is similar to the leaked press render.
The HTC Smartwatch will be an Android Wear device, and it will apparently come with a metal casing and will be available with a choice of metal and leather bands.
As yet we do not have any specifications on the new HTC Smartwatch, the device is rumored to launch some time in either August or September.
At the moment there are two Android Wear devices available, the Samsung Gear Live and the LG G Watch, both devices have a similar design with a square watch face, it looks like the HTC Smartwatch will have a similar design. We are also waiting for the new Moto X to launch, which is expected this summer, it will come with a round display.
