The last year wasn’t too impressive for HTC, but the company has posted it’s financial results for the third quarter, which brings some good news for the Taiwanese OEM.
Surprisingly, the company has reported a profit, thanking the HTC One M8, HTC One Mini 2 and Desire 816. The company mentioned HTC One M8 is available on all major US carriers, and have received a warm welcome from the customers.
The Taiwanese OEM posted a quarterly revenue of NT$41.86 billion (almost $1.37 billion) with the operating profit amounting to NT$0.16
billion ($5.25 million), and net profit before tax was NT$0.64 billion ($21 million). The past few quarters weren’t as impressive from the Taiwanese company, even the last quarter had a huge lost of NT$ 2.97 billion.
HTC didn’t mentioned how many units it sold during the third quarter, but there are some decent devices from HTC launched earlier this year. There’s the HTC One M8 which is available from all major US carriers, and has received positive reviews. It’s not just the One M8, the company also introduced the compact HTC One Mini 2, HTC One E8 and Desire 816, which offers a decent set of specifications at an affordable price tag.
