As yet we don’t have any details on how much T-Mobile will be charging for the HTC One S on their network, and the device comes with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4.0.
The HTC One S features a 4.3 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor and it also comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the HTC One S include an 8 megapixel rear camera which can record full HD video in 1080p and a front facing VGA camera for video chat, plus Beat Audio.
Design and Build Quality
The HTC One S is designed with a sleek and slim profile, measuring just 7.8mm in thickness, making it one of the thinnest smartphones available at the time of its release. The device features a unibody aluminum construction that not only adds to its premium feel but also ensures durability. The ceramic metal finish on the back provides a unique texture and enhances grip, reducing the chances of accidental drops.
Software and User Experience
Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the HTC One S offers a smooth and intuitive user experience. The HTC Sense 4.0 overlay adds a layer of customization and functionality, including features like customizable home screens, widgets, and an enhanced camera interface. The device also supports multitasking, allowing users to switch between apps seamlessly.
The HTC One S comes pre-loaded with a suite of Google apps, including Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Play Store, providing access to a vast library of apps, games, and media content. Powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, the HTC One S delivers impressive performance, handling everyday tasks with ease. Whether you’re browsing the web, streaming videos, or playing games, the device offers a smooth and responsive experience. The 1GB of RAM ensures that multitasking is efficient, with minimal lag or stuttering.

On a full charge, users can expect to get through a full day of moderate use, including web browsing, social media, and multimedia consumption. The device also features power-saving modes that help extend battery life by optimizing performance and reducing background activity.
Camera and Multimedia
The 8-megapixel rear camera on the HTC One S is one of its standout features. It comes with an f/2.0 aperture and a back-illuminated sensor, allowing for better low-light performance. The camera app includes various shooting modes and settings, such as HDR, panorama, and burst mode, giving users the flexibility to capture different types of photos. The ability to record full HD 1080p video ensures that users can capture high-quality videos with ease.
The front-facing VGA camera is suitable for video calls and selfies, although its resolution is relatively low compared to modern standards. However, it gets the job done for basic video chatting needs.
The inclusion of Beats Audio technology enhances the multimedia experience on the HTC One S. Whether you’re listening to music, watching videos, or playing games, the audio quality is rich and immersive, providing a more enjoyable experience.
The HTC One S is a well-rounded smartphone that offers a blend of performance, design, and functionality.
