We recently heard that HTC’s new flagship Android smartphone had been delayed, and now HTC has released some more details on the HTC One release date, the handset will launch in the US in April.
HTC have said that the HTC One will be available in the US before the end of April, although they did not give a specific launch date for the HTC One in the US, you can see a statement from HTC below.
“HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews,” HTC said. “The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.”
The HTC One will features Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and it features a 4.7 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 468 pixels per inch, processing is provided by a quad core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.
Other specifications on the HTC One include 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, it also uses HTC’s new Ultrapixel camera and HTC’s custom HTC Sense 5 user interface.
HTC’s Ultrapixel camera on the HTC One comes with an f/2.0 lens, HTC says that their new camera sensor is capable of collecting 300 percent more light, it also features a pair of front facing speakers and Beats Audio.
