Sense 6 is rolling out for existing HTC handsets in several regions. Yesterday, it was reported that Sense 6.0 is rolling out for the HTC One M7 in the UK, and now it seems more countries are getting the update as well as Android 4.4.
Reports suggest that the oversized HTC One Max in Malaysia is getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update with Sense 6.0 UI, bumping the build number 3.14.707.3. The update is quite big so make sure you download it over the WiFi so that you don’t choke out your mobile data limit.
The Android 4.4 update is sized at 560MB, and brings several new features and enhancements that are a part of the KitKat update, as well as the simplified Sense 6.0. Along with the revamped user interface, the update also introduces the Extreme Battery Saving Mode, which was released with the HTC One M8, and aims to extend the battery life of the handset.
The update also comes with improved Blinkfeed and video highlights, better camera and gallery apps, themes and personalized fonts for the handset.
The update is rolling out as we speak and should reach all devices in the coming days. Don’t be impatient if you don’t see it now, but checking it manually may work out too.
