If you’re rocking an unlocked or developer edition of the HTC One M7, you should check out the notification center as you may be in for a surprise.
HTC is now rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the HTC One M7 Developer and Unlocked edition of the handset, revealed HTC’s Mo Versi on Twitter.
The official change log is not yet available, but we have an idea of what the Android 5.0 Lollipop has in store for its users. The latest operating system offers users with a new design, an improved multitasking interface and lock screen notifications, ART runtime, improved security and much more.
As for all the versions of the current flagship, HTC has already confirmed they are going to miss out on their 90 day deadline for the roll out due to some issues being fixed.
The update is rolling out as we speak, and should reach all devices in the coming days. The process is gradual so don’t panic if you don’t spot it right away. Alternatively you can manually check for the update and see if it’s available. Let us know using the comments below if you’ve received the update.
