It has become a norm to launch a mini version of the flagship devices, especially in the past few months. Many OEMs, including HTC and Samsung, launched miniature versions of their flagship devices.
Recently, HTC unveiled their latest flagship device dubbed as the HTC One M8, and yes, it appears to be an amazing device. Now, a new tweet from the well-known @evleaks suggest HTC might launch the HTC M8 Mini later this year.
This is not the first time we’re hearing about the alleged HTC One M8 Mini. A couple of rumors surfaced last month suggesting that HTC M8 Mini will launch a few months after the Taiwanese OEM is done with the launch of their flagship device. What’s even more surprising is that the earlier leaks also came from the prolific Twitter leaker, who was kind enough to share some of the specifications the alleged HTC M8 Mini could bring at the table.
According to him, the HTC M8 Mini will come with a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset on board with 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and should run Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0.
@evleaks has a very solid track record when it comes to leaking unreleased device, but we’ll still recommend our take it with a pinch of salt as there’s no official word from HTC. But, it seems it might be true, considering the way HTC M8 leaked, we might see some more leaks of the miniature version in the coming weeks.
