We’ve heard quite a lot about the alleged HTC Hima, expected to be the upcoming HTC One M9 flagship from the Taiwanese OEM. We’ve heard about some of the specifications its expected to offer.
While Samsung is expected to launch their next flagship device at CES 2015, the same cannot be said for HTC. A new rumor suggest that HTC won’t unveil the HTC One M9 Hima handset at CES or MWC, but will schedule a special event in March to unveil the handset.
To be honest, this isn’t surprising as HTC took the wraps off the current HTC One M8 at their on special event held in March, and it’s likely they will follow a similar schedule this year as well. Plus, this isn’t the first time we’re hearing about its launch, an earlier rumor also hinted at the launch of the alleged HTC One M9 in the first quarter of 2015.
As per rumors, the HTC Hima is said to come with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, as well as a quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood. Other rumored features include 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, 2,840 mAh battery and a 20.7MP rear camera for photos and videos. The handset is rumored to launch in three color options: silver, gray and gold.
We’d suggest our readers to take this with a pinch of salt as there’s no official word from HTC about its launch, and there won’t be any for some time. We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more.
