HTC Desire Eye was expected to launch in India in late-November through Amazon India, but it never happened.
However, if you’re interested in picking up the HTC Desire Eye, it’s available in the region ahead of its official availability for Rs 35,990 (almost $564) at a retailer in Mumbai, India.
HTC Desire Eye was unveiled earlier this year which focuses the most on its selfie-focused front facing camera. The handset features a 13MP front-facing camera with a flash to take good-looking selfies. The primary camera also boasts a 13MP sensor for photos and videos.
The handset boasts a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, and comes with a Snapdragon 801 chipset for processing, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card slot should you ever need mores storage space.
Other features include IPX7 certification which makes it water resistant up to a certain extent, Bluetooth 4.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, a 2,400 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI on top of it.
The official website still lists the handset as “coming soon” but if you can’t wait, you can try your luck at third-party retailers in the region.
