Last month, we heard that HTC’s Desire 610 may launch on Verizon in the coming weeks. The handset is already available from AT&T in the US, and it seems the Big Red will indeed offer the handset in the coming weeks.
Recently, HTC Desire 612 was spotted on Verizon’s website, with the Big Red listing the product manual of the upcoming device. The device looks extremely similar to the HTC Desire 610, but the front-facing speakers are a little different.
It doesn’t end there, the folks at TK Tech News posted a press render of the Desire 612, which matches the listing on Verizon’s website. The report further said that Verizon will launch the handset on October 9th, and it will come with a $19.99 price tag tied to a two-year contract with the carrier.
They also shared the specifications of the alleged HTC Desire 612. It’s said to come with a 4.7-inc qHD display sporting a resolution of 960 by 540 pixels, 8MP camera for photos and videos, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2,040 mAh battery and should run Android 4.4.3 out of the box.
The handset features BoomSound speakers, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion, 1.5GB of RAM, and a all-metal design.
There’s no word from HTC or Verizon, but we’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially available — October 9th is just around the corner.
