HP has released 4 new laptops namely HP Pavilion dv4-5000, HP Pavilion g4-2000, HP Pavilion dv6-7000 and HP Pavilion dv7-6000. All of these designs come with Intel’s 3rd generation Core i processors (Ivy Bridge).
The updated Pavilion dv4-5000 appears to be a souped-up 14-inch screen machine. It offers the Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.30GHz processor and Nvidia GT 630M graphics.
The Pavilion dv6-7000 will have Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor upon release. The updated 2012 version of the dv6 has an aluminum
Midnight Black look, replacing last year’s Dark Umber. Most important of all, the dv6-7000 will sport a backlit keyboard.
The Pavillion dv7-7000 is pretty much a twin to dv7-6000, but it sports a larger 17.3″ screen compared to dv6’s 15.6″
The HP Pavilion g4-2000, g6-2000 and g7-2000 are budget models with curved, beveled edges. They come in sparkling black, winter blue and ruby red.
The keyboard is said to have a bowl-shape deck and island (chiclet) style keys. You also get a numberpad built-in for the g6 and g7 models.
More detailed specs are all over the internet. The only thing we have to wait for is how much money do we have to throw at our screens to get one.
Order forms for the new HP models will be out on April 8.
