HP has today launched a new edition to their range of tablets with the unveiling of the new HP Envy x2 2-in-1 tablet that is equipped with a 13 inch display together with stereo front facing speakers equipped with Beats audio.
The new HP Envy x2 is priced starting at $800 and provides the best of both a Windows laptop and Windows tablet in one device all powered by an Intel Core M processor and shipping with a Windows 8.1 64-bit operating system installed.
The Intel Core M processors are the first chips to feature 5th generation Intel Core “Broadwell” technology and have been designed for inclusion in top end tablets and notebooks that require a long battery life and fanless cooling. HP explains :

Other features of the newly launched HP Envy x2 tablet include a backlit keyboard, 802.11ac WiFi, and an optional full HD display with the entry-level providing a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. With options available to install up to 8GB of RAM together with Intel Core M-5Y10 or Core M-FY70 processor as well as up to 512GB of solid state disk (SSD).
