HP Envy x2 Windows 2-in-1 Tablet And Notebook Launches From $800

HP Envy x2

HP has today launched a new edition to their range of tablets with the unveiling of the new HP Envy x2 2-in-1 tablet that is equipped with a 13 inch display together with stereo front facing speakers equipped with Beats audio.

The new HP Envy x2 is priced starting at $800 and provides the best of both a Windows laptop and Windows tablet in one device all powered by an Intel Core M processor and shipping with a Windows 8.1 64-bit operating system installed.

The Intel Core M processors are the first chips to feature 5th generation Intel Core “Broadwell” technology and have been designed for inclusion in top end tablets and notebooks that require a long battery life and fanless cooling. HP explains :

“Get the power and portability you need with this ultra-versatile detachable PC. Enjoy the flexibility of an All-in-One, notebook, and tablet in one device. Capture all the details, even in low light. Get more of you and your surroundings into web chats thanks to a wide viewing angle lens.

Enjoy crisp, vibrant images from ultra-wide viewing angles on this 13.3-inch diagonal Full HD touchscreen display. Everyone can see your photos, videos, and more—even from side angles. With BeatsAudio and dual speakers, the HP ENVY x2 is designed for the best-sounding, richest audio on a PC.”

Other features of the newly launched HP Envy x2 tablet include a backlit keyboard, 802.11ac WiFi, and an optional full HD display with the entry-level providing a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. With options available to install up to 8GB of RAM together with Intel Core M-5Y10 or Core M-FY70 processor as well as up to 512GB of solid state disk (SSD).
