LEGO is a fascinating toy that can be fashioned to be almost anything—even a new home for a hermit crab.
Hermit crabs have very soft bodies so they rely on the protection of their outer shells. But once they outgrow their shells, they have to move fast to find a new one, or risk being vulnerable prey.
Harry the hermit crab lives in a rock pool in LEGOLAND UK. And though he has a lot of natural shells in his disposal, he took a liking to the very colorful LEGO shell.
He seems to be adapting very well to his new shell. And when he outgrows him soon, it’s so easy to make a new one.
