Earlier this year Hapilabs launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to jump start their concept for a smart fork in the form of the HAPIfork.
The HAPIfork was showcased at the beginning of the year during CES and is now preparing to start shipping worldwide to the public and is now available to pre-order for $99.
The original Kickstarter campaign raised $134,000 to develop and manufacture the HAPIfork and a video explaining the function of the HAPIfork can be watch below.
“HAPIfork is a revolution! It will help millions of people eat more slowly, adopt good eating habits, lose weight and feel great! Additionally, with HAPIfork comes the HAPI.com platform for web and mobile. Our cross-device platform makes the experience of changing bad habits easy and fun. Here we’ve created a coaching program providing helpful nutrition and fitness tips and motivational social games to help keep people implement their new healthy habits.”
