Greenify is a fairly popular battery saver application for Android devices that can have a positive effect on your smartphone’s battery.
Until now, the application was only available for rooted device, but with the recent update, users with non-rooted devices can make use of Greenify as well.
Although users with unrooted access doesn’t get access to all the features that rooted users can enjoy, but it still brings a handy features to save battery life. For nor-rooted users, the application comes with restirictions, and users cannot enable automatic hibernation due to privilege restrictions. Although users can add “Hibernate All” shortcut to the home screen.

- Greenify now works on non-root devices! Try out the non-root working mode (without automatic hibernation due to privilege restriction).
- Shortcut “Hibernate All” can now be created also from main menu in Greenify.
- Greatly improved the stability of auto-hibernation, especially on Android 4.4+.
- Improved experimental feature “Block on-going notification abuse”.
