Tony Bates the president of GoPro, the popular action camera company has this week revealed the company is currently developing a new GoPro mobile video editing application that it hopes to launch before the end of the summer this year.
The new GoPro mobile editing application will enable users to edit their GoPro footage directly from their smartphone or tablet and is currently in the final stages of testing.
At the current time very little is known about the features and functionality of the new GoPro app, but you can expect it to support the major mobile platforms such as Android and iOS and even Windows possibly at some date in the future.
GoPro also recently launched its first entry level camera in the form of the Hero+LCD, which has built-in editing functionality allowing users to edit footage away from their desktop PC. As soon as more information is announced, leaked or becomes available regards the new GoPro application we will keep you updated as always.
