GoPro the makers of extreme sports camcorders have today unveiled a new addition to their range of sports camcorders with the launch of their new GoPro HD Hero 2. The new model is now equipped with twice as much powerl as the original GoPro Hero camera and features 1080p HD video recording and 11 megapixel photos.
With the Go Pro’s HD Hero 2’s new processor delivering twice the processing power and taking full advantage of a new high performance 11 megapixel still camera. Its sensor now provides enhanced professional low light performance, to make sure you never miss the action.
GoPro is also launching their new Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote products this winter, specially designed for the HD Hero 2. That will enable video remote control via the Wi-Fi Remote, smartphones, tablets and computers as well as enabling live GoPro video broadcast from anywhere there is Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot.
The new GoPro Hero 2 is available in three 2 models: motorsports, surf, and outdoor, which are all compatible with existing GoPro accessories and are available to purchase from the GoPro online store and specialist retailers for around $300.
