We previously saw some pictures of the Google Pixel 3 and now we have some more photos of the new Google Pixel 3 XL.
The pictures show the white version of the handset and the device appears to be a prototype handset like the last one we saw.
We previously heard that the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and that both devices would be available with a choice of RAM and storage options.
The devices will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, there is also rumored to be another version of the handset with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Camera and Facial Recognition Features
So far we do not know what cameras the device will come with, we do know that the handset will come with some sort of facial recognition as the handsets will feature a notch at the top of the display. The notch is expected to house advanced sensors and cameras for facial recognition, which could be similar to the Face ID technology found in Apple’s iPhone X. This would mark a significant step forward for Google in terms of biometric security features.
In addition to facial recognition, there are rumors that the Pixel 3 XL will feature an improved rear camera system. Google has been known for its exceptional camera software, and it is expected that the Pixel 3 XL will continue this trend with enhanced AI capabilities for better photo quality, even in low-light conditions. The previous Pixel models have set high standards in smartphone photography, and the Pixel 3 XL is anticipated to push these boundaries even further.
Design and Display
The design of the Pixel 3 XL appears to follow the trend of minimal bezels and a larger display. The notch at the top of the screen is a new addition, which allows for a more immersive viewing experience. The display is expected to be a high-resolution OLED panel, providing vibrant colors and deep blacks. This would make the Pixel 3 XL an excellent device for media consumption, whether you’re watching videos, playing games, or browsing the web.
The white version of the handset shown in the pictures suggests that Google may offer multiple color options for the Pixel 3 XL. This would give consumers more choices to match their personal style. The build quality of the prototype also appears to be solid, indicating that Google is focusing on premium materials and craftsmanship.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Pixel 3 XL will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, which is one of the most powerful mobile processors available. This will ensure that the device can handle demanding tasks and run multiple applications smoothly. The choice of RAM and storage options will also cater to different user needs, whether you require more memory for multitasking or additional storage for media files.
The Pixel 3 XL will be one of the first devices to come with Google’s new Android P OS. Android P introduces several new features and improvements, including a redesigned user interface, enhanced notifications, and better battery management. The combination of powerful hardware and the latest software will make the Pixel 3 XL a compelling choice for Android enthusiasts.
Google are expected to launch these two new Pixel handsets some time next month, the devices will be the first to come with Google’s new Android P OS.
