Google are holding a press conference this week where they will make their new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones official.
The press conference takes place this Wednesday the 4th of October. Last week we heard some more specifications on these two new smartphones.
Both the Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The Pixel 2 will have a 5 inch Full HD display and the Pixel 2 XL a 5.5 Quad HD display. Both devices are expected to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
There will also be another storage option with 128GB, it is not clear as yet on whether this model will also come with more RAM. The handsets will not feature a headphone jack and both devices will come with an IP67 rating.
The new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 8.0 Oreo. We will have more information about the two devices when they are made official on Wednesday.
