The Google Nexus 5 is expected to be made official later today, the handset will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, and now we have some photos of the Nexus 5 being taken apart.
The Nexus 5 will come with a 4.95 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 445ppi, the device will be powered by a quad core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, have a look at the photos after the break.
Other specifications on the Google Nexus 5 include 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage, the handset will also features front and rear facing cameras.
on the front of the Nexus 5 is a 1.3 megapixel camera, on the back is an 8 megapixel camera which can record full HD video in 1080p, the camera on the back is said to feature optical image stabilization.
Earlier today we heard more details about Android 4.4 Kit Kat, which will ship with the Nexus 5, and the main focus of Kit Kat is to apparently put and end to Android fragmentation.
Android 4.4 Kit Kat is apparently designed to run on both the latest handsets and also budget devices with lower specifications, which would means older Android devices would also benefit from Android 4.4 Kit Kat, apparently it will work with handset with 512MB of RAM upwards.
We also heard that Google is going to launch a new Android Cloud service with Android 4.4 , the service is expected to work in a similar way to Apple’s iCloud.
