Google is apparently working on a new teleconferencing app called GMeet, the details about the new app were discovered by Florian Kiersch.
The new software is apparent designed for teleconferencing and it will allow users to schedule and join calls with one click.
Google Meetings is coming.
Login currently appears to be limited to Googlers, so it’s only possible for Googlers to create events. It’s possible to join as a guest though, given you have an event code or know one of the participants.
There’s also a supporting Chrome extension.
As yet there are no details on whether Google has designed GMeet for businesses or whether the software is designed to be used by everyone, as soon as we get some more details about the service, we will let you guys know.
