Many of the social networks like Facebook and Twitter have come under criticism for they wya they have policed things like bullying, hate speech and more.
Now Germany is considering a new law which would end up fining these companies for failure to remove hate speech from their websites.
The new law was recently presented by German Justic Minister Heiko Maas and these companies could face fines if they do not remove online threats, hate speech or slanderous fake news within a reasonable amount of time.
According to some recent research, Facebook removes around 39 percent of this type of content that has been flagged by its users and Twitter removes just 1$.
