George Hotz is well know for hacking Apple’s iPhone and also the Sony’s PlayStation console and now he has built a self driving car in his garage.
The video below shows this new self driving car system in action, the system was created using a 21.5 inch display, some computers and a bunch of cameras around the vehicle.
George Hotz’s self driving car system uses an artificial intelligence system that apparently learns how to drive from watching other drivers, the system is called Comma.ai.
It certainly looks very interesting from the video and according to its creator, the system would cost around $1,000 to produce when it is finished.
It will be interesting to see what happens with this new software and technology that George Hotz has developed in his garage and whether any car makers will be interested in using the system in the future and developing it further.
