Now, we have some more information about the purported Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. According to a new report, the purported tablet will come with an extremely affordable price tag of $129.
According to a report from Digitimes, citing the usual upstream supply chain sources, Samsung is reported planning to introduced a plethora of tablets in 2014, and will price its latest entry dubbed as Galaxy Tab 3 Lite for just $129. This is lower than many of the entry-level smartphones available in the market, and may attract a lot of customers who are looking for a cheap tablet.
Samsung Electronics is reportedly planning to flood the tablet market with several different sized models including 7-, 8-, 10- and 12-inch in 2014 and will price its new 7-inch model, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite at US$129 to attract consumers, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
The details are scarce about the specifications the tablet could bring at the table, but we do know some of them, thanks to the rumor mill. The rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is expected to come with a 7-inch display boasting a resolution of 1024 x 600, 1.2GHz processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (or possibly 4.3). Rumors also suggest that it will hit retail in both 3G and WiFi models.
CES 2014 is underway, and while many of you may be more excited about the company’s Pro line up of tablets, which we saw earlier today in a banner as well, but this affordable tablet could get popular in emerging markets.
