Fujitsu has just released details of its new ultra-thin MBH7WLZ21 WLAN Module thats capable of providing 802.11 b/g/n WLAN connectivity. The new module is based on the based on the Ralink RT3070 chip and although its smaller in size, its a faster network device capable of providing transfer rates of up to 150 Mbps.
This tiny device measuring only 14.7×18.8×2.1mm is designed for ultra-thin high-speed graphic and audio devices. But is also available as a dongle with a USB header and built in antenna if required.
The addition of the USb port allows it to be connected to any device with a compatible USB connection. Software support includes embedded 64/128-bit WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security and supports Quality of Service (Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) and WMM-Power Save functionality)
