Fujifilm has today announced the launch of their new X-A5 mirrorless camera which comes equipped with a 24.2-megapixel APS-C image sensor combined with a Bayer colour filter, rather than Fujifilm’s X-Trans array. Fujifilm is also making available a new lens for the X-A5 in the form of the XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ, which offers photographers a motorised power zoom lens. The XC15-45mm is the first motorised power zoom lens in Fujifilm’s range and weighs 136g and provides a focal length of 15mm at its widest.
The X-A5 offers photographers a wide variety of new features, in addition to the newly developed zoom lens, providing 4K movie recording, touch screen and connectivity using the latest Bluetooth pairing technology for immediate image transfer to your mobile device, tablet or computer.
Watch the demonstration video below for a quick overview of what you can expect from the new Fujifilm X-A5 mirrorless camera, which will start shipping on February 8th, 2018 priced at $600 when supplied with the new lens, or $300 in its stand-alone form. Fujifilm is offering a number of different finishes for the new mirror less camera including pink, brown and black. While the lens will be available in either black or silver finishes.
