Freesat has announced today that they are launching a new range of free to air digital satellite TV set-top boxes that will be equipped with their new Free Time TV guide.
The Freesat FreeTime TV guide offers users of the new set-top boxes a backwards Electronic Programming Guide with access to popular on demand services such as 4OD, Demand 5 and iPlayer to name a few.
The next generation Freesat+ boxes have been created to build and grow the Freesat business, and targets people who have a satellite dish but don’t want to pay costly monthly subscriptions for programmes.
The new Freesat+ boxes will be available to buy from John Lewis, Currys, Comet and other retailers and online later this month, and are manufacturer by Humax priced at £279, with devices from Sagemcom, Philips and Manhattan arriving shortly.
