Peter Chou was the CEO of HTC from 2004 until 2015, he moved to the HTC Future Development Lab in 2015 and Cher Wang took over at the company’s CEO.
HTC has now confirmed that Peter Chou has left the company and is now working for a company called Digital Domain.
HTC has confirmed that its former CEO Peter Chou has left the company. Chou is currently serving as chairman of Hong Kong-based Digital Domain though he is still an honorary consultant to HTC.
Chou stepped down from his position as CEO at HTC in early 2015 and was appointed to head the HTC’s Future Development Lab, a new division of the company responsible for coming up with new products.
HTC has struggled with its smartphone sales and also its earnings over the last few years and its handsets have been not as popular as the company has hoped.
