Gearbox developers of the new Battleborn game, the online first-person shooter video game, has this week announced a new update will soon be rolled out to correct some of the issues experienced by players as well as releasing balance updates on a weekly basis.
The game features 25 playable characters upon release, with each with their own unique abilities and weapons. Gearbox has been listening to player feedback and is now starting to roll out tweaks to improve gameplay.
The official Gearbox website explains more :
We have a team of people at Gearbox and 2K dedicated to the mission of self-improvement, and today’s hotfix is just one small example of the kinds of things we can quickly fine-tune on the fly. Weekly balance updates and larger content patches are also already in the works.
Speaking of the latter, bigger content patches require a little more time and need to go through first-party certification. So, for example, we’ve heard you loud and clear about Marquis standing in the back of the map and picking away at a Sentry’s shields, and we are addressing it in the first content patch for Battleborn, which will be coming soon.
Battleborn is a first-person shooter with multiplayer online battle arena elements, in which players engage in combat through a first-person perspective. Unlike other first-person shooters, the quests and game modes of the game were designed to feature a format and structure similar to a multiplayer online battle arena game.
