Mozilla has today launched the next version of their Internet browser, Firefox 9. Todays unofficial launch comes one day ahead of the official launch tomorrow, following on from the beta version that was released back on November 11th 2011.
The new Firefox 9 browser brings with it a number of new enhancements and performance tweaks, and extra speed whilst browsing. With improved JavaScript execution speed of around 20 to 30%.
Together with optimisations, improved theme integration and two finger swipe navigation for Mac OS X Lion users. As well as some additional HTML5 and CSS support, and new hooks enabling developers to query your “Do Not Track” status via JavaScript.
