To aid Fire Fighters communicate without voice European designers Ashwin Rajan and Kevin Cannon have created a unique concepts that allows communication via hand gestures.
The FireFighter Communication Gloves allow wireless communication by using coded LED buttons embedded on the top of the gloves. When other standard methods of communications may not be fully operable or required.
The gloves sense the users hand movements and transmit the communication to other nearby Fire Fighters via wifi and provide a simple system of gestures that can clearly communicate quickly back and forth. To communicate hazards, movements and instructions.
The gloves can also act as a proximity detector with sensors on each hand that can be used in think smoke, when visibility is zero.
