A new smart speaker has been launched this week via Kickstarter by audio hardware manufacturer Fanstereo offering a lightweight voice-activated wireless speaker and microphone. Early bird Kickstarter backers will receive a $120 discount off the recommended retail price of $199 and If all goes well worldwide shipping is expected to take place during September 2018. The lightweight Smart speaker is equipped with a rechargeable battery capable of providing up to 18 hours of use and is equipped with advanced wireless technology providing a range of up to 100 ft.
