Patrick Rosenthal has created a new type of artificial intelligent home console called the EmoSPARK which he has designed to provide users with relevant content when asked as well as play music and media on request.
The EmoSPARK’s Android powered and uses face tracking and language analysis to help answer any questions you may ask it via voice, smartphone or tablet connection. Check out the video after the jump to learn more about this very unique A.I device.
Once you have started using your EmoSPARK just 90 x 90 x 90 mm it will start gauging your likes and dislikes by categorising content to emotional responses.
Using an emotional spectrum based on seven emotions : joy, sadness, trust, disgust, fear, anger, surprise and anticipation the EmoSPARK will start tagging videos, music as well as other content to your emotional responses. The EmoSPARK can also be connected to your YouTube or Facebook accounts to help it build up a history of your interests, allowing it to learn even faster.
The EmoSPARK project is currently over on the Indiegogo crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think EmoSPARK is something you could benefit from, visit the Indiegogo website now to make a pledge and help EmoSPARK become a reality.
