Ecobee has launched their latest smart thermostat, the Ecobee3, and the company has give their thermostat a completely new design and it also comes with a range of new features.
The Ecobee3 comes with wireless remote sensors and it connects to your WiFi, and it is designed to measure temperatures and also occupancy in the rooms around your house.
The device can also be controlled with your smartphone or tablet, allowing you to change the temperature around your home, and also monitor the thermostat.
“The industry has seen the introduction of new thermostats that seem modern but have the same flaw that thermostats did fifty years ago – they only measure the temperature in one location, often the hallway. The ecobee3 thermostat and remote sensors resolve this fundamental design flaw and deliver comfort to the rooms that really matter.” said Stuart Lombard, co-CEO at ecobee.
The Ecobee3 comes with a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display, and it comes with a new user interface over the previous models, plus a range of new features.
The new Ecobee3 smart thermostat will go on sale on the 29th of September, prices start at $249 for the thermostat and one remote sensor, additional sensors can be bought for $79 for two, you can find out more details at the link below.
