The David Brown Speedback GT was unveiled at a private event in London last week, it takes its design cues from the Aston martin DB5, a favourite of James Bond.
The Speedback GT comes with a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 from the Jaguar XKR, the engine pumps out 510 horsepower, and it also features an aluminum spaceframe chassis from the Jaguar XKR.
Building the Speedback was a natural step to combine my engineering and manufacturing background with my love of cars. It encapsulates all that I hold dear to me in terms of style, quality and performance. I believe that my passion is reflected in every aspect of the car’s design and build. If you share these principles, and appreciate British engineering at its very best, then I hope that you will enjoy the Speedback as much as I have enjoyed its creation. I am proud of what our small team has achieved with the Speedback and I feel privileged to put my name to it.
There are no details as yet on how much the David Brown Speedback GT will retail for, although we suspect it is not going to be cheap, you can find out more information over at David Brown at the link below.
