If you are a fan of Aliens then you will recognize the Caterpillar P5000 Power Loader from the movie, that one dad decided to build a replica of to carry his kid around in.
Carsten Riewe made a replica costume to carry his 13 month old daughter around in, have a look at the video below.
This Baby costume was inspired by the Caterpillar P5000 Powerloader from the movie “Aliens” by James Cameron. The arms and legs are full moveable and the top-light and LED were powered by an 12 Volt battery pack stored in the backpack. The on/off switch is in the left arm. Also in the backpack a Bluetooth boombox ist installed to play mechanical robot sound fx or music if preferred.
The costume took 100 hours to make and it was built for a parade last month in Carsten Riewe’s home town.
