New parents want to do all they can to keep an eye on their baby while the little guy or gal is sleeping in the other room. New parents can’t help but feel like the baby needs to be watched at all times. D-link has unveiled a new baby monitor that is able to stream video of your baby to anything that is web connected.
The camera is the DCS-825L and the video it shoots can be sent to a mobile device, tablet, or computer. The camera connects to an existing WiFi network for streaming the video. Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android devices. The camera has a microSD card slot for recording video when sound is detected. Using the app parents can take snap shots and save them to the mobile device.
Night vision capability allows the camera to see the baby form up to 15-feet away in night mode. Temperature sensors in the camera can send the parent an alert when the temperature exceeds a certain range. The camera can also send push notifications when it detects noise or motion. D-Link also includes five pre-recorded lullabies and two way audio so you can talk to the baby. The camera will sell for $179.99 and is available now.
