Compulab have launched a new version of their Intense PC, the Compulab Intense PC2 or IPC2 and it comes with some updated specifications over the original version.
The Compulab Intense PC2 is a fanless mini PC that is equipped with a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, it supports displays up to a 4K resolution, and also supports up to 16GB of RAM.
“IPC2 design goal was more-for-less” said Stas Lapchev – IPC2 Product Architect. “Every single aspect is enhanced in IPC2 – CPU and graphics performance, RAM, storage, display, networking and I/O. The major achievement is packing all that new functionality in the same compact fanless-housing while actually reducing power consumption and base price”.
Other specifications on the Compulab Intense PC2 include 2 HDMI ports, 802.11 ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Internal 2.5” HDD/SSD + 2x mSATA (all SATA revision 3.0 – 6 Gbps), it has 4 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports.
The Compulab Intense PC2 will go on sale in February, prices start at $388 and the device is available to pre-order from Compulab at the link below.
