I have reviewed and used many different video cards over the years and the thing I always hated was that ATI/AMD for a long time would not allow card partners to overclock the video cards from the factory. That has all changed and there are a number of factory overclocked cards on the market today from AMD partners.
The latest is the new Radeon HD 6850 Overclocked Edition (PDF) from Club 3D. Club 3D’s card has the same basic features of all other 6850 video cards on the market today like 1GB of GDDR5 RAM, support for EyeFinity, DirectX 11 and a lot more.
The real difference between the Club 3D card and others on the market is that it has faster clock speeds for the memory and the GPU. The GPU clock is 820MHz and the memory clock is 4400MHz. The card also has 960 stream processors, a 256-bit memory interface and lots more. Pricing and availability are unknown.
